AFM STM Repair
Diagnosis, hardware maintenance, replacement parts and remote technical support for Agilent AFM and STM systems.
Support for scanning probe microscopy systems: maintenance, replacement components and technical service. The team handles instrument troubleshooting, system upgrades, modular customization and operator instruction for Agilent 5500, 5100, 4500 and 5420 and Molecular Imaging platforms, covering scanners, controllers, cantilevers, calibration samples, liquid cells and temperature stages.

Comprehensive maintenance, custom configurations, and operational training designed to optimize laboratory microscope performance.
Diagnosis, hardware maintenance, replacement parts and remote technical support for Agilent AFM and STM systems.
Modular platform customization integrating environmental chambers, electrochemical tools, custom spectroscopy scripts, and specialized analysis modules.
Detailed video tutorial series covering imaging mechanisms, scanner calibration, contact and tapping modes, controller setup, and troubleshooting.
Maintain scientific productivity with comprehensive support tailored specifically for your scanning probe instrumentation. From diagnosing complex controller faults to integrating specialized environmental chambers and conducting preventive tune-ups, our services preserve measurement fidelity. We provide researcher-focused solutions that minimize laboratory downtime and extend the operational lifespan of your critical nanoscale imaging infrastructure. Component condition feeds directly into the measurement: a worn tip broadens features, a degraded photodiode raises the noise floor, and a failing piezo introduces creep and hysteresis in height data.

For a scanning probe microscope, parts and service history is the record of which assemblies have been replaced and when the instrument was last calibrated. It matters because scanner, photodiode and high-voltage cable replacements each shift the calibration baseline. When you request service, send the model, serial number and the date of the last calibration, so the right part can be identified and the instrument's current measurement behaviour understood.
